Big Picture Madness

It would seem that my life's obsession right now is running, and contemplating how I'm going to meet this crazy new goal I have of running a half marathon in all 50 states.  But before I was a runner, I was a scrapbooker.

I even owned a scrapbook store for about three years in downtown Plainwell, Michigan called The Crop Corner.  Loved the experience and the people, didn't care so much for the fact that I was always working rather than out taking pictures of my lovely family at their events, and that I NEVER had the opportunity to scrapbook.  There is no way I could have even conceived of taking up running during that part of my life, although I think I did work out regularly at that time (kind of a blur if you must know the truth)!

Well, now I do scrapbook again (though not as much as I'd like) and I have found myself
contemplating signing up for classes at Big Picture Scrapbooking almost as much as I consider signing up for races.

During 2012 I participated in four BPS classes, including two that lasted all year.  They include:

One Little Word by Ali Edwards (My word for 2012 was "Simplify."  Didn't really happen for me!)
Move More, Eat Well by Cathy Zielske
31 Days by Ali Edwards (LOVE her by the way)
and
Project Real Life by Becky Higgins

I can't say that I always kept up (okay - I'm WAY behind on all four classes right now), but I have watched all the videos and thought a lot about the process.  And now I'm considering what to do for 2013.

I'm thinking that Move More Eat Well 2.0 and One Little Word (maybe "Strength") are in my future....
